Rocio Andrade

February 9, 1959 — April 26, 2025

Rocio Andrade, age 66, of Roberts, Idaho, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

Rocio was born February 9, 1959, in Romita, Guanajuato, Mexico a daughter to Carmen Andrade and Maria de Jesus Elias.

She loved cooking. Nothing quite filled her soul like watching her family sit down to an enormous delicious meal she made from scratch. Often grabbing her camera to snap a photo of everyone sitting at her table. Baking was another skill she loved to share. Always willing to teach her granddaughters and other family members her specialties.
She loved creating. Whether it was knitting a scarf or crotcheting table cloths, blankets, and doilies.

Listening to music was always a passion for her. On days she didn't go to work her sons would come home to her music blasting from all of the speakers she wired throughout her home. Many times when she arrived home from work she would sit in her car listening to music for a long time before going inside.

She loved gardening, and the neighborhood knew that every spring there would be tulips and every summer her hollyhocks stood tall in many striking colors. That same neighborhood watched her take evening walks with her family. Sometimes around the block, and sometimes to the edge of town. In the later years she loved revisiting TV shows. Her favorite being All in the Family. She became a big fan Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore. She also loved watching movies. Her favorites were Sing 2 (for all the relatable characters), Joker (strangely, also a relatable character), and her favorite series Planet of the Apes (they kept her on the edge of her seat). Rocio lived in Twin bridges, Montana, Dillon, Montana, and Wisdom, Montana, before settling in Roberts Idaho. She loved Roberts for the small town vibes and privacy. She worked at Sunfresh Potato, in Rigby, Idaho, Webster Potato, in Rigby, Idaho, and Clement Bros in Lewisville, Idaho, where she made many lifelong friends. Some who she considered family. Many of whom considered her wise beyond her years and often came to her for advice and guidance.

She is survived by her sons: Claudio (Kandre) Ramirez Andrade, Cezar Ramirez, Rodrigo Ramirez, Ulises (Sandra) Ramirez. Sisters: Sylvia Andrade, Rosa Maria Andrade, Angeles Andrade, Maria Refugio Andrade, and Gavina Andrade. Brothers: Pedro Andrade, and Juan Andrade. And her dog/granddaughter Ivy

She is Preceded in death by her father, Carmen Andrade, Mother, Ma. Jesus Elias, and brothers and sisters Antonio Andrade, Carmen Andrade Jr., Genaro Andrade, David Andrade, Jose Luis Andrade, Evencia Andrade, Lorena Andrade. and her dog/granddaughter Rose.
