Rod Craig Duke, 53, of Roberts died Monday, May 3, 2010, at his home.
He was born September 2, 1956, in Idaho Falls, to Wayne Meredith Duke and June Watts Duke.
He grew up and attended schools in Roberts and Rigby.
On March 4, 1977, he married Lana Jean Tanner, in Idaho Falls. They live in Roberts. Rod owned and operated an upholstery and auto body business in Roberts.
Rod enjoyed restoring old cars, camping, riding motorcycles with family and friends, helping his children with projects and spending time with his granddaughters. His granddaughters loved to spend time with grandpa and thought he was the greatest.
He is survived by his wife, Lana Duke, of Roberts; daughter, Shurell (Cody) Seamons, of Osgood; son, Royce (Tiffiny) Duke of Thatcher, Utah; son, Colby (Torrie) Duke of Idaho Falls; and daughter, Chelsey (Noah Tomchak)Duke of Roberts; granddaughters, Shelby and Morgan Seamons, Baylee Duke, Rilee and Taylor Duke, sister, Kathie (Pete) Goddard, of Roberts, brothers, Ronald (Glenna) Duke, of Elk Grove, California, and Reginald (Miriam) Duke, of Idaho Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 8th 2010, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends and family from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 7th, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., prior to services on Saturday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
