Rodney K Bartlome

Rodney K. Bartlome passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 51, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

He was born on July 3, 1973 in Twin Falls, Idaho to his mother Mary. He was raised by his

mother and step father Este Middleton in Jerome. He attended school in Jerome until his senior

year when he moved to Mud Lake and lived with Larry and Janet Garner. He graduated from

West Jefferson High School in 1991.

He was on the swim team, he was an avid cub scouter and received every cub scout patch

there was. He was cub scout of the year when he was 9. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and bear

hunting with his hound dogs. He won several competition coon hunts with his hounds.

He joined the Navy in 1992 and was honorably discharged in 1995. After the Navy, Rod held

many jobs including police officer for Jefferson County and Jerome County, he drove truck in

the oil fields, was a diamond core driller, and most recently a mechanic for Yellowstone Plastics.

He was also a Volunteer EMT and Firefighter for several years.

He married Tausha Carpenter in 1997 and they have three children, Harley, Koby and Nash and

four grandchildren, Wrenlie, Rickie, Oaklynn and Beckett. His grandchildren were the light of his

life and they all idolized him.

He is preceded in death by his step dad Este Middleton.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday February 19th, 2025 at 1pm at the West Jefferson

Cemetery.
