Ron Guymon

Ron J. Guymon, 38, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at his home in Rigby. He was born January 14, 1973 in Rexburg, Idaho to Leon and Maxeen Paskett Guymon. Ron was raised and attended schools in Rigby where he graduated from Rigby High School. Following high school he attended Ricks college in Rexburg for a time. On June 9, 1994 he married Brandi Ann Anderson in the Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple. They made their home in Rigby where Ron worked as a firefighter/EMT for Jefferson Central Fire District. He also worked as a dispatcher for the sheriff's office. Ron loved spending time with his family and enjoyed his many firefighting related interests. He was dedicated and committed to serving the public. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving is his wife of 16 years, Brandi Ann Guymon; two daughters, Bailey Nicole and Ciara Elizabeth Guymon; his parents, Leon and Maxeen Guymon; a brother, Allan Guymon; two sisters, Karen Waters and Heidi McCann. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Rigby 9th Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop John Schell conducting. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening at Eckersell Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Interment will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
