Ronald Trueman Crossley

Ronald Truman Crossley, 82, of Rigby, passed away Monday, February 29th 2016 at Sage Grove Assisted Living in Rigby. Ronald was born December 10th 1933 in Rigby, Idaho a son to Truman Crossley and Geneva Severson Crossley. He attended grade school in Garfield and graduated from Rigby High School. He earned an engineering degree from the University of Idaho. He worked at INEL most of his adult life, except for three years at Clinton Electric Nuclear Plant in Missouri. He married Maxine Brown in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, June 17th 1953. He lived in Idaho Falls and Ucon, finally settling in Garfield when he bought the family farm. He developed dementia in his later years and then lived in a care facility until his death. He is survived by his wife Maxine of Rigby, siblings, Douglas Crossley of Rigby, Doyle (Joan) Crossley of Rigby and Renae (Dee) Attwood of Rigby and his eleven children, Kathy (Reyne) Tannerof Rigby, Kris (Connie) Crossley of North Highlands, California, David (Christine) Crossley of Idaho Falls, Suzanne (Gaylen) Cook of Florence, Arizona, Karl (Jauna) Crossley of Rigby, Karina (Mike) Dougherty of Liverpoole, New York, Rona (Dan) Yardley of Idaho Falls, Benjamin (Tara) Crossley of Oakdale, Connecticut, Patricia (Jeff) Johnson of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Joanna (Shane) Scott of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Dan (Ginger) Crossley of Rigby, 44 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held Saturday, March 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the Grant Central Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
