Rory Kay Walker

Rory Kay Walker, 62 of Rexburg, Idaho, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 from complications of COPD.  He was under the care of Encompass Hospice.

Rory was born May 27,1959 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Darryl Walker and Janeale Lawyer Walker; the oldest of 6 children.  He graduated from Rigby High School, attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho and later joined the US Air Force.

On July 12, 2000, his daughter, Cheyenne Kodie, the love of his life was born.  On January 28, 2001 he married Crystal Landon, gaining a son, Taylor Nate Landon.  He and Crystal later divorced.

Rory was an avid golfer.  While pursuing golf, he gained a “brother from another mother”; Kael Martin.  Together they taught Cheyenne all about the game.  They all loved a good game of golf, rain or shine.   Rory was also a skilled carpenter.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Kodie of Terreton, Idaho; sons, Army SPC Taylor N. Landon, who is currently deployed in South Korea; brother, Kael (Jessica) Martin; mother, Janeale Walker, of Price, Utah; sisters, Rhonda Walker of Lewisville, Idaho, Julie (Troy) Rossier of Price, Utah; brothers, Mike (Julie) Walker of Lewisville, Idaho, James (Angela) Walker of Richmond, Utah, Ryan (Melissa) Walker of Salem, Utah and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darryl Walker, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
