Rose Marie Bowen

Rose Marie Andrus Bowen, 79 of Moscow, Idaho; previously of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away September 26, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Moscow.

Rose was born April 9, 1942 in Garfield, Idaho to Henry Floyd Andrus and Thelma LaPreal Walters Andrus.  She was raised and attended schools in Rigby, Idaho.  On April 18, 1958, she married Maurice Bowen in Lyman, Idaho; they made their home Pocatello and were blessed with 1 daughter and 2 sons.  In addition to being a wife and mother, Rose worked at AMI Semiconductor Inc. in Pocatello.

Rose was a member of New Knowledge Academy.  Following retirement, she enjoyed line dancing, snowshoeing and putting together jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by 1 daughter, 2 sons, 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Sutton Cemetery in Archer, Idaho.  Services are under the care of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby, Idaho.
