Rosella Elaine Warnberg

Rosella Elaine Warnberg, 88 of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Parkwood Meadows in Idaho Falls.

Elaine was born February 17, 1931 in Wagonhammer, Idaho to Robert Charles Hale and Norma Gamble Hale. She grew up in Southeast Idaho and attended schools in Pocatello. On June 23, 1950, she married Robert Gene Warnberg in Malad, Idaho. They were blessed with 2 sons, Darrel and Erik. In addition to being a homemaker, Elaine worked in the potato industry and for Auto Meter in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Her husband Robert worked in construction, building churches, which caused their family to move often.

Elaine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed writing poetry and painting.

She is survived by her sons, Darrel Warnberg of Iona, ID, Erik Warnberg of Lafayette, Indiana; a sister, Martha Hamp of Weiser, ID; brothers Robert Hale of Billings, MT and Fred Hale of Phoenix, Arizona as well as 4 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Gene Warnberg, a sister, Vera and a brother, Ben.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho) at 11:00 AM. The family will meet with friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at Eckersell’s. Interment will be in the Parker Cemetery.
