Rosemary Andrus

July 23, 1957 — November 18, 2013

Rosemary Andrus, 56, of American Falls, passed away peacefully Monday, November 18, 2013, at Trinity Nursing Home in Nampa due to long-term health problems. She was born July 23, 1957 in Idaho Falls to Bert Murphy and Elma Newman Murphy. She was raised in Milo; she attended Ucon Elementary, Ammon Jr. High School, and Bonneville High School. She married David Grover, and was later divorced. She was then married to Aldon R. Andrus; they were together for 35 years. Rosemary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she stayed close to her Relief Society President and her Visiting Teachers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother sister and daughter and loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed doing crafts, camping, BBQ’s, the 4th of July, going to the fair, fishing, boating, holidays, and being outdoors. She is survived by her father, Burt Murphy, of Ammon, sister, Dixie Murphy, of Idaho Falls, husband, Aldon R. Andrus, of American Falls, children, Laurie (Chris) Bromley, of Mountain Home, Billy Grover, of Idaho Falls, David (Tiffany) Grover, of Pocatello, Ray (Rose) Andrus, of Idaho Falls, Danielle (Mark) Larsen, of Rigby, Frank (Brittany) Andrus, of Chubbuck, stepdaughter, Denise (Carlos) Alatrista, of North Salt Lake, Utah and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elma Murphy, and brother, Steven Murphy. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, November, 26, 2013 at The Milo LDS Chapel, 12127 N. 75th E., Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby. Burial will be in the Grant Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. Memorial contributions may be made at Eckersell Memorial Chapel.
