Rosemary Shore

Rosemary Parr Shore, age 69, of Ririe, passed away at Carriage Cove in Rexburg, Thursday, August 1st 2024.

Rosemary was born June 30, 1955 in Rigby, Idaho a daughter to John Franklin Miller Jr and Mary Jane Monroe Miller.  She attended schools in Ririe graduating from Ririe High School.  She continued her education at Ricks College, In Rexburg, Idaho.  She married Rodney James Parr, he preceded her in death.  She married Clarence “Curly” Shore on January 16, 1991 in Ririe, Idaho.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she taught primary for 10 years.  She served on the Ririe Library Board for 20 years.  Throughout her life she worked at R&R Electric, First Security Bank and Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.  She enjoyed collecting beautiful dolls, doing temple work and camping.

She is survived by her brother, Aldon (LeeAnn) Miller of Ririe, 2 nieces Tracy (Mike) Johnson of Kennewick, Washington, Carla (Frank) Greenough of Idaho Falls, 2 great nieces, Tessica Vizcarra of Idaho Falls, RanDee (Logan) Curtis of Kennewick, Washington, 1 great Nephew, Aaron (Cheyanne) Johnson of Kennewick, Washington, 4 great-great nieces and one more on the way in November and 2 great-great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant brothers and an infant sister, her 1st husband Ronnie Parr and her second husband Curly Shore.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 8th 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ririe Perry Building 285 Second West, Ririe, Idaho 83443.  The family will visit with friends on Thursday at the church from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m.  Burial will follow services at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
