Ruby Rosa Farley, age 77, of Dubois, Idaho died Monday February 11, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Ruby was born October 31, 1935 at Jackson, Wyoming a daughter to Howard Eaton Henrie and Ruby Grace Neidt Henrie. She attended Jackson, Wyoming schools graduating from Jackson Wilson High School in 1954. She then attended Ricks College and continued her education with correspondence classes.
She married James Harold Farley May 13, 1961 in Jackson, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 6, 1962.
She taught school in Salmon, Idaho from 1960 to 1961, in Kilgore, Idaho 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades from 1961 to 1962 and was a substitute teacher for 30 years. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving as a primary teacher for about 30 years and Sunday School Teacher and a visiting teacher for over 40 years. She also served as secretary for the Primary, Mutual and Relief Society and home taught with her husband for 40 years. She enjoyed reading, quilting, puzzles, Sudoku, genealogy and playing games with family.
She is survived by her husband James Harold Farley of Dubois, three daughters Alcy Blanche (Rick Vadnais) Farley of Hamer, Lela Rosa(Ken) Marino of Jackson, Wyoming, Ellen (Tim) Mullikin of Big Piney, Wyoming, two sons John Pittman Farley of Bloomington, California, James Henrie Farley of Ketchum, Idaho, two sisters Marty Barrus of Scottsdale, Arizona and Cleona Sutton of Brainerd, Minnesota, one brother Joe (Sharon) Henrie of Jackson, Wyoming, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and One sister.
Funeral services will be held Friday February 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Beaver Creek Ward LDS Chapel in Dubois. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Dubois Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
