Russell Wayne Ogden, was born June 15, 1968 in Denver, Colorado to Perry Wayne and Marie Hancock Ogden. He was raised in Cache Valley and attended schools there until his Senior year, when he moved to Rigby. He graduated from Rigby High School in 1986 and served in the U.S. Army at Bamberg, Germany through 1987. Russell married Miriam Young at Menan, March 25, 1988 and they were blessed with four children; Teisha age 13, Todd age 12, Jessica age 9, and Dalton age 4. They were the light of his life.
Russell loved big trucks and from the age of 6 dreamed of driving one for his whole life. He was able to live that dream with the support of his wife and children; and delivered goods in 45 of 50 states. He loved life and had a great time finding the humor in all situations. He loved spending time with his family and with his brothers, Robert, Clay and Luke. He especially loved to fish and play golf with them. They spent countless hours together enjoying NASCAR and the Broncos. He is survived by his children and best friend Miriam, his brothers Robert, Clay, Luke, Trinity, Darin, sisters Laresa, Ali, Darby, his parents Marie and Bruce Fredrickson and Perry and Becky Ogden, a very special friend Michelle Rodriguez, countless friends and loved ones who truly love him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Verba and Irvin Hancock, William and Roberta Ogden and his mother-in-law Dorothy Young. Services for this fun-loving man will be held Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 12:00 noon at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho). A viewing for friends and loved ones will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
