Ruth Green Hanson, age 92, of Annis, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

Ruth was born June 18, 1932 at Menan, Idaho a daughter to Seymour Ray Green and Donetta Raymond Green.  She attended Menan Elementary, Jr High and graduated from Rigby High School.  While in High School she met the love of her life, Theo I Hanson.  They were married June 2, 1950 in Idaho Falls LDS Temple.  They settled down in Annis where they spent the rest of her life working as a school bus driver, mother, and wife.

She has been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving wherever she was called.

Ruth enjoyed sewing, knitting, puzzles but especially her family.  She made many quilts for the humanitarian Center.

She is survived by her daughters: LuAnn Plourde (David), Treena Moore (Daryl), Rita McCulloch (Tony), Lorna Richards (Ralph) and Susan Sears (Gary), 19 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 13 Great-Great Grandchildren, and three sisters: Joan Boyce, June Call and Nola Arellano.

She was preceded in death by her husband Theo Irvin Hansen and two sons Myrle Theo Hanson and Oscar Dean Hanson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 22nd, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Menan Stake Center 698 North 3600 East Menan, Idaho.  The family will visit with friends Saturday March 22nd from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Stake Center.  Burial will follow services at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
