Sandra Elaine Harris

Sandra Elaine Harris, 66, of Idaho Falls, slipped away quietly April 4, 2016 at Intermountain Health Care Hospital in Murray, Utah. Sandra was born July 5, 1949, in Blackfoot, Idaho a daughter of Newel Carl Anderson and Velma Van Orden Anderson. She was raised and attended school in Pocatello where she graduated from Highland High School. On July 3, 1969, Sandra married Larry Martin Harris in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. After having eight children, she continued her education at Eastern Idaho Technical College receiving her Associates Degree in Accounting. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she faithfully served in many callings, and loved to attend the temple. Music was a big part of her life, and she shared that joy with her children. She loved and enjoyed serving others especially her husband, children and grandchildren. Sandra is survived by: her husband, Larry Martin Harris of Idaho Falls, daughters; Camille (Raymond) Munson of Idaho Falls, Kimberly (Lambert) Andrus of Blackfoot, Stephanie (DeeJay) Wood of Archer, Heidi (Justin) Dahlke of Idaho Falls, sons; Sherwin (LaurieLyn) Harris of Springville, Utah, Curtis (Colleen) Harris of Palo Verde, Arizona, Devin Harris of Idaho Falls, Larin Harris of Orlando, Florida, sisters, Gloria (David) Johnson of Preston, Idaho, Barbara (Steve) Lewis of Pocatello, Jeanine (Lane) Palmer of Pocatello, brothers, Kyle (Rebecca) Anderson of Pocatello, William “Bill” Anderson of Pocatello and 33 grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Shauna Poulos, 2 brothers, Blair and Sherwin Anderson Funeral service will be Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Coltman L.D.S. Chapel. The family will visit with friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. also at the Coltman L.D.S. Chapel. Burial will be in the Grant Central Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
