Sandra Ann Lundquist, 88, of Payson Utah, formerly of LaBelle, died June 5, 2025 at Orchard View Assisted Living in Payson, Utah.

Sandra was born August 13, 1936 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, daughter of Daniel Richard and Berniece Mason Young. She attended school in Idaho Falls and Menan, graduating as the salutatorian from Rigby High School.

On June 18, 1954, she married Gary D. Lundquist in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They had six children. Sandra was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She served in all auxiliaries of the Church. She also served with Gary as a temple officiator for 14 years. She worked side by side with Gary as he farmed and ranched. She also loved to write and was active in the Writers League for many years. She loved to write poetry and had a poem published in one of the Church magazines. She also published a book about the stories surrounding the Teton Dam Flood in 1976. She enjoyed playing the piano, violin, and singing. She and Gary also loved to dance. Sandra loved family and doing genealogy. She was active in the LaBelle Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She and Gary loved to travel with good friends. Their most memorable trips were to China, Israel, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Their favorite place was Hawaii.

After Gary's death in 2009, Sandra was called to serve a mission to the Denver North Mission. She worked to help others prepare for job interviews and placement. Sandra loved the Lord and her family. She was a wonderful companion to her husband, and a loving, generous mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Kevin (Bonnie) Lundquist of Firth, Idaho, Kerry (Susan)
Lundquist of LaBelle and Geri Jean Lundquist of Spanish Fork, Utah; siblings, Connie Aston, of
Sacramento, California, Kent (Pam) Young and Craig (Mauna) Young of South Jordan, Utah, Sue Welker of Preston, Idaho and sister-in-law and dear friend, Joyce Polson of LaBelle; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary; three sons, Kyle, Shawn, and Joel; three grandchildren, Nathan, Tory, and Joshua.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 12th at the LaBelle LDS 2nd Ward Chapel (4223 E 528 N Rigby, Idaho 83442). The family will visit with friends Wednesday, June 11th from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. and Thursday prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 A.M. both at the church.  Interment will be at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
