Sarah Phyllis Wilding Eldridge

Sarah Phyllis Eldridge, age 90, of Milo, died Saturday, March 01, 2008, at her home of natural causes. Sarah was born November 12th, 1917 to George David Wilding and Florence Hill Wilding. She married Wiley Fern (Bill) Eldridge on August 22nd, 1936 and they raised their family in the Sugar City, Rexburg and Island Park areas. When the Teton Dam broke they lost everything and started over again in the Milo area North of Ucon. They were sealed in the LDS Temple on August 22, 1978. Sarah was active in her church and held many positions. Her talents of Handy work and ceramics have decorated not only her home but those of her children for years. She is survived by her younger brother Don Wilding (Jeanette) of Idaho Falls, her sons, George Wiley Eldridge (Sharlene) of Milo, Wallace Frank Eldridge (Ada) of Sugar City, Richard Warren Eldridge (Karolyn) of Idaho Falls, Phillip Neil Eldridge (Marcia) of Milo, Russel Dee Eldridge (Mary) of St. Anthony, and Michael Harlo Eldridge (Michelle) of Eugene, Oregon and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, an infant son (Ricky) her mother and father, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Milo Ward LDS Chapel. The family will visit with friends at the Milo LDS Chapel on Monday, March 3rd from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Sugar City Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
