Sarah Marie Kellom

Sarah Marie Kellom, 30, of Dubois, died Thursday February 13, 2014 at her home. She was born June 22, 1983 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Thomas R. Kellom and Millie Marie Hartwell Kellom. She was raised and attended schools in Dubois, graduating from Clark County High School. She Played volleyball, basketball and was a cheerleader in Jr. High; she was also active in 4-H. She continued her education at the College of Southern Idaho and earned her C.N.A. She worked at St. Benedicts Hospital in Jerome for 5 years, and most recently for Grand Teton Group Services in Idaho Falls. Sarah loved children, and caring for and visiting with the elderly. She also enjoyed music and singing and being with her beloved chocolate lab, Balou. Sarah is survived by her mother, Marie Kellom, of Dubois, sister, Melissa (Steven) Plotnick, of Round Lake, Illinois, and brother, Andy (Alison) Kellom, of Hobson, Montana. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas R. Kellom and her grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., prior to services, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the West Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
