Saundra "Marie" Watson

Saundra “Marie” Watson, age 45, of Menan died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at her home. Marie was born December 21, 1961 at Idaho Falls, a daughter of Richard Lynn Morgan and Saundra Camphouse Morgan. She grew up and attended schools in the Iona area, and was a graduate of Bonneville High School. She continued her education at Vo-tech in Idaho Falls. She married Garland Smith June 10 1982, in Idaho Falls, they later divorced. May 29, 1992, she married Rick Glenn Watson in Shelley, Idaho. Marie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Primary Teacher, Secretary of the Young Women’s Organization and as 1st Counselor in the Relief Society. She worked as a Rural Mail Carrier in Menan for 13 years. She also worked for Century 21 Real Estate in Idaho Falls, Simplot Food Processing, and Idaho Fresh Pak. Marie enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers, fishing, camping, cross country skiing, and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Rick Glenn Watson of Menan, daughter, Kendra Marie (Jake) Lovell, of Idaho Falls; Parents, Lynn and Saundra Morgan of Iona; a brother, Scott Wade (Lisa) Morgan of Idaho Falls; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Shawn DeWayne Morgan and a brother, Terry Lynn Morgan. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Menan Stake Center, Bishop Garth Gunderson officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
