Scott L Carpenter, 64, of Terreton, Idaho peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by family on December 23, 2024. Born on August 17, 1960 in Idaho Falls Idaho, to Dean and Lita Carpenter, Scott was a graduate of West Jefferson High School.

Scott worked a variety of jobs from Hunters Farm Supply, Canal company, B&S Trucking, Rons Tires and Fish and Game. He then dedicated 32 years of his life to the Idaho Department of Transportation. His work didn't stop after he got home either. Living on a farm he raised everything from chickens, pigs, cows, sheep, turkeys, and goats, also farming 160 acres for many years.

Scott had a deep love for nature and the outdoors. He embraced every opportunity to immerse himself in nature, whether camping or hunting with family or casting a line in a peaceful stream.  This passion for nature was something he cherished and shared with his loved ones. In his later years Scott adored spending time with his grandchildren sharing his love for the outdoors and creating lasting memories with them.
