Scott Troy Stevens

Scott T. Stevens, 31 of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

Scott was born May 24, 1991 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Shawn Stevens and Jera Hawkins Messenger.  He attended Midway Elementary and Midway Middle School in Menan, Idaho, Rigby Jr. High School, and graduated from Rigby High School.  Throughout his life, Scott worked for AAA Paving in Rigby, Pro Rentals in Idaho Falls, and Distilled Resources Inc. in Grant, Idaho.

Scott loved being outdoors; camping, fishing and hunting were a few of his favorite activities.  He also enjoyed playing sports and watching football.

He is survived by his children, Troy Fredrick Stevens, Travys Ransom Stevens and Trent Scott Stevens; his mother, Jera Messenger; sisters, Mykayla Kinnebrew, Natalee Messenger; brother, Chris Calhoun; all of Idaho Falls; grandparents, Nina and Neldon Hawkins of Rigby and Juanita Stevens of Arizona.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Shawn Stevens, and grandparents, Donna and Blaine Barney.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby, ID.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., prior to services at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2022 at Grant Central Cemetery.
