It is with great sadness that the family of Shane Bills announces his passing on January 14, 2026, at the age of 58. He was born on May 2, 1967, in Idaho Falls, ID. Shane was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy was time spent with those he loved. A dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he cherished the opportunity to serve others through his many callings. There wasn’t anything Shane couldn’t do. Some of his many hobbies included being a commercial pilot and Gold Seal Flight Instructor, sailing, welding, and fixing anything that was broken. He often joked that the only things he couldn’t fix were things that were not broken and broken hearts. His career path included working in the high-tech industry, owning a flight club and flight services business, and owning auto repair facilities. He ended his career in a field he loved, as a Director of Fleet for Diamond Environmental where his knowledge of transportation law and shop management made him a valuable asset to his team. His humor, loyalty, and strength touched every life he encountered. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kimberly; his children, Jacob (Bianca), Jordan, and Luke; his grandchildren, Eryn, Sawyer, Foster, and Covey; his parents Glen and Vicki, and his siblings, Chanelle, Kristi, and Curtis.
