Sharon Talbot Green

October 26, 1946 — April 24, 2011

Sharon Talbot Green, 64, of Idaho Falls, died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at her home. She was born October 26, 1946, in Preston, Idaho to LaRay O. Talbot and Royla Perkins Talbot. She was raised and attended schools in Preston and graduated from Preston High School. She graduated from Idaho State University with a Masters Degree in Radiology. She worked as a supervisor of Rad Con at INL for 7 years. She also volunteered as a Hospice worker. On October 20, 1988, she married Lewis Robert Green in Idaho Falls. After retiring, she worked with her husband on their ranch in Terreton. They sold their farm in Terreton in 2002 and made their home in Idaho Falls. Sharon was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was known to all of her friends and family as an outstanding cook. She enjoyed canning, needlework, reading, working in her home and flower garden and loved her dog Max. She is survived by her husband, Lewis R. Green, of Idaho Falls, daughter, Rachel R. (Andy) Anderson, of Twin Falls, sister, Lori T. (Kenneth) Balls, of Preston, brothers, David L. (Louise) Talbot, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Brent P. Talbot, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and a granddaughter, Bailey Anderson, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents and 2 brothers, Paul O. Talbot and Leroy Talbot. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Terreton LDS Stake Center with Bishop Ryan Hobley, conducting. The family will receive friends for one hour, prior to services at the stake center. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
