Sharon Ray Olsen

Sharon Ray Wylie Olsen, 75, of Tetonia, Idaho passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at her home in Tetonia. Sharon was born November 23, 1945 in Rexburg, Idaho, the daughter of Melvin William Wylie and Rayelda Scott Wylie. She attended schools in Madison County.

On August 17, 1963 she married John Peter Olsen in Rexburg, Idaho.  They made their home in Tetonia were they raised their family.  Sharon enjoyed shopping on Q.V.C.. She was a strong supporter of grandchildren in their sports. Her family meant everything to her. She always looked forward to visits with family and friends.

Sharon is survived by her children; J.R. Olsen Wood of Tetonia, Idaho and Ione Hansen of Rigby, Idaho. Her sisters, Sandra Green of Rigby, Idaho and Kendalee Gunderson of Menan, Idaho. Brothers, Dave (Barbara) Wylie of Rigby, Idaho and Ladell (Debbie) Wylie of Boise, Idaho. She was blessed with four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Peter Olsen, her parents, a granddaughter, Sheena Ray, and a son-in-law, Mitch L. Hansen.

A graveside service has been planned for Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Cache-Clawson Cemetery.
