SHARON LaVonne Snavely, age 67 of Rigby, died Sunday, August 26, 2007 in Rigby.
Sharon was born May 13, 1940 in San Mateo, California, the daughter of William R. Lee and Helen E. Jacobsen Lee.
Sharon grew up and attended schools in Redwood City, California, and attended High School in Arcata, California.
She married Dean Snavely December 31, 1961 in Carson City, Nevada. She owned and operated Golden Pines Shelter Home and Rigby Country Living in Rigby.
Her life was dedicated to serving others. She loved to cook for her children and grandchildren every Sunday. She had an extended family of 27 residents and a life time of adopted children and friends. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed her years at the Idaho Falls Church of the Nazarene and the Bethel Baptist Church in Rigby.
She is survived by her husband Dean Snavely of Rigby, Idaho; Four daughters, Carol (Reed) Radford of Rigby, Idaho, Deana (Joe) Bare of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Joi (Michael) Lockhart of Shelley, Idaho. Bonnie (Chuck) Sullens of Spokane, Washington; One Son, Christy Lee of Lewisville, Idaho. Survived by her Mother Helen Lee of Arcata, California, one sister Rosalie Gallegos of Colorado Springs, Colorado, one brother William (Francis) Lee of Fairfield, California. Survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her father, one daughter Carrie Johnson, one son Dale Anderson and one brother Skip Lee.
Funeral services will be Friday August 31, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church 3866 E. 400 N. Rigby, Idaho. The family will receive friends Thursday evening 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m at the Bethel Baptist Church and Friday 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church.
