Sharon Lee Whitmeyer

Sharon Lee Whitmeyer, born September 5th 1946 in Bolivar, MO. Passed away peacefully in Idaho Falls, Idaho May 12th of a short battle with cancer. Sharon was married to Wynn Whitmeyer Sr. for 48 years. Sharon worked fulltime at Point Mugu Naval Base and raised two sons, Wynn Jr. and Bret. After retiring she and Wynn managed the Herbert Ranch in Piru, California for many years. After Wynn and Sharon’s retirement from ranching in 2007 they moved to Rigby, Idaho to be closer to grandkids. Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother of 4 and friend. She was a role model of honesty, hard work, and love of family and friendship. She is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.
