In Loving Memory of Sherron Kay Gilson, 62 of Mud Lake, Idaho. She passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her home. She was born in Lebanon, Oregon, November 11, 1953 to Ruth E. Willey and Roy C. Persinger. She grew up around Sweethome, Oregon and attended Sweethome High School until she was in the 11th grade. She married and divorced and had two girls Gina and Andrea from this marriage. She moved to Green River, Wyoming in 1980 where she met Larry Dee Gilson and one year later they were married October 16, 1981. He brought into this family four boys from a previous marriage, Richard Glen, Larry Anthony, Eric Lee and Darrell Peter. On October 21, 1989 they became proud parents of a little girl named Sherry Annette in Corvalis, Oregon. This made Sherron a stay at home mom while Larry worked. They then moved to Utah for new work, then to Washington for work and ended up in Portland, Oregon for work at the Ship Yards. In 2006 they moved to Mud Lake, Idaho. She enjoys singing and playing her guitar. She was a real good dancer and enjoyed dancing whenever she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Ruth Persinger. She has three sisters, Carolyn, Carlene and Linda and a brother Roy W. Persinger.
A celebration of Life for Sherron will be held by her husband Larry this summer.
