Sheri Diane Chase

Sheri Diane Chase, 57, passed away at her home in Rigby Friday, October 7th 2016. Sheri was born April 2nd 1959 at Kindly Air Force Base in Bermuda, a daughter to Bill Seal and Mary “Doris” Olsen Skinner. She attended schools in the Idaho Falls area. She married Tony Chavez and later divorced. She then married Jon Chase and later divorced. Earlier in her life she worked at Kirkham Auto Parts, and Taylors Quik Stop. She then not only managed the Subway in Rigby for years but she was also a lifelong free thinking independent woman. She enjoyed spending every free chance she had in nature. Her favorite activities included camping, hiking, and canoeing. She also was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She loved reading and spending time with her four girls. Survivors include: Her mother Doris Olsen Skinner of Overton, Nevada, four daughters: Kalie Chavez of Rigby, Erin Chavez of Idaho Falls, Kelsey (Quest) Thornton of Ririe, and Holly Chase of Idaho Falls, eight grandchildren: Xoe, Lily, Ethan, Zen, Marley, Starlynn, Abel, and Jaxon, and two step grandchildren: Ally and Veronica, as well as her soul sisters Shona Olsen and Laura Levitt. She was preceded in death by her father Bill Seal and her brother Bruce Seal. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate memorial contributions to assist with expenses.
