Sherrie Jones, age 50, of Idaho Falls, died Thursday, July 25, 2013.
She was born November 16, 1962, in Rexburg, Idaho to Oliver Larry Lee and Carolyn Clark Lee. She was raised and attended schools in Terreton; she graduated from I-Tech with a degree in Office Technologies. On November 16, 1978, she married Wesley Alan Jones in Osgood, Idaho; they were blessed with 4 children.
Sherrie is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she loved doing crafts, woodworking, embroidering, and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband Wes. Sherrie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, raising a garden and growing flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Wes Jones, of Idaho Falls, daughters, Lacey Dawn (Jacob) Lundholm, of Terreton, Summer Lynn (Steven) Waddle, of Terreton, Camas Nichole (Travis) Zollinger, of Egin, son, Oliver David “D.J.” (Niccole) Jones of Idaho Falls, her parents, Larry & Carolyn Lee, of Terreton, sister, Rhonda (Van) Dayton, of St. Anthony, Mother-In-law Mina Jones of Rigby, Idaho, and Sister-in-Law Lisa (Jessie) Owens of Idaho Falls, and 7 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 sister Billie Jo and father-in-law David Jones.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013, at the Grant Central Cemetery, with President Todd Simmons, conducting. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m., Sunday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby.
