Shirley Anderson Shirley Cristina Anderson, 86 of Rigby passed away February 9, 2025, in Homestead Senior Living. Shirley was born December 25, 1938 in Idaho Falls a daughter of Elena Ethel Nelson and Albert Schritter. Shirley grew up in Monteview and graduated from Terreton High School.

While growing up Shirley worked on the family farm in Monteview with her brother Bobby, and sisters Rosalie and Gloria.

Shirley married Kent J Anderson on October 26, 1956 in Terreton, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. They had three children Karl, Colleen, and Crystal. Shirley worked as a migrant teacher's aid in the Rigby Elementary Schools for several years. Shirley enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling, rock hunting, boating, fishing, dancing with her husband, and family activities.

Shirley was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Shirley enjoyed family activities with her children and grandchildren.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Kent Anderson and brother Bobby, survived by her son Karl (Tamara) Anderson, daughters Colleen (Keith) Barney, Crystal (Kent) Fenton all of Rigby, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at LaBelle L.D.S. Chapel. The family will visit with friends at the beginning of services from 10:00 to 11:45 at the LaBelle Church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
