Shirley Linda Hatch Shirley Linda Hatch beloved mother, sister, grandmother, friend, and nurse passed away Dec 7th, 2017. Shirley is survived by her five children; Jennifer Ditty, Bradley Hatch, Lindy Leqakowailutu, Thomas Hatch, and Andrew Hatch; her nine grandchildren as well as her siblings Graham Bullick and Karen Millard. Shirley was born in Canada, raised in Australia and lived in Southern California, Utah and Idaho. She loved crafting, British culture, and finding an unbeatable deal. Her greatest loves were her children, grandchildren and listening to Elvis. She will be remembered for her many adventures with her family over the years. From Disneyland to the national regional parks of all the areas in which she lived. She was always on the go. In her sixties she completed two half marathons inspiring several of her children to run beside her and adopt a love for an active lifestyle. Shirley was a life long learner who instilled the value of education in each of her children. She obtained three Masters degrees in Nursing Science, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, and had recently certified in the same field while pursuing a Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner. For the past 12 years, Shirley was able to share her knowledge and passion for the medical field as a Nursing instructor at BYU Idaho. Mom, we will truly miss your sweet smiles, infectious laughter, endless energy and most of all your amazing ability to make us all feel loved and care for. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rigby 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 364 North 4100 East, Rigby, Idaho, 83442. The family will visit with friends on Friday, December 15th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, ID 83442 and on Saturday for one hour prior to services at the church.
