Ruth Estella “Stella” Call, age 95, of Rigby, died Sunday July 17, 2005 at the Rexburg Nursing and Rehab Center in Rexburg. Estella was born April 4, 1910 at Lyman, Idaho a daughter of Carl Christian Fransen and Edith Arnold Fransen. She attended schools in Lyman, Rexburg and Rigby High School. She married Delbert Fremont Call, May 17, 1928 in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She owned and operated with her husband Delbert, Call’s Floral and Greenhouse in Rigby. Her husband died in 1982 and she continued their floral business until she went on a mission for the church to Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 82. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving over 50 years in the Primary and Scouting and was awarded the Silver Beaver. She moved to Idaho Falls where she served in the Temple. She enjoyed her friends and family. She is survived by a daughter, Marion (Jim) Hamilton of St. Anthony, 3 sons, Heber Blaine Call of San Diego, California, Douglas (Carine) Call of Idaho Falls, and D.F. (Vicky) Call of Perry Utah, 2 sisters, Alta Dansie of Rigby, and Bernice (Doty) Smith of Whitehall, Montana, 1 brother Ray Fransen of Willows, California, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 daughter Linda Ann Tremelling, 2 sisters Clea Fransen and Delphia Holdaway and 2 brothers George and Gail Fransen. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2005, at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel. The family will visit with friends on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m and on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. both at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
