Steve D. Chase

Steve D. Chase, age 53, of Ririe, died Friday, June 29, 2007 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Steve was born Oct. 14, 1953 at Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Derwin E. Chase and Betty J. Ashbocker Chase. Steve attended schools in the Ririe area, graduating from Ririe High School; he continued his education at Idaho Vo-Tech, graduating as a Mechanic and Welder. He worked for Massey Ferguson Co. in Idaho Falls for one year and for Con-Agra in Idaho Falls for twenty-two years. Steve was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an Elder. He was an avid fly tier, fisherman, gun and knife collector. He enjoyed leatherwork and camping. Steve is survived by his parents of Ririe. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 2, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Perry L.D.S. Chapel in Ririe. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and Monday, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Church in Ririe. Interment will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
