Steven Owen Hale, age 54 of Rigby, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Steven was born April 11, 1952 in Blackfoot, Idaho, the son of Owen Moss Hale and Mary Dellie Higby Hale.
Steven grew up and attended schools in Pingree, Idaho. He graduated from Snake River High School, and attended one year at the L.D.S. Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Roxana Baron March 21, 1974 in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the Boy Scouts of America as a Cub Master and Webelos Leader. He served in the Rigby 3rd Ward Bishopric as an executive Secretary and had served as a membership clerk. He served a mission to the Southern States. He loved and enjoyed his family.
He worked for Brady’s in Idaho Falls, Idaho as a sewing machine technician.
He is survived by his wife Roxana Hale, and one daughter Ivy Mae Hale, both of Rigby,
Idaho. He is survived by seven sons; Steven John (Ember) Hale of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Rex Allen (Nicole) Hale of Tremonton, Utah; Orland Wade Hale of Rigby, Idaho; Randy Lee Hale of St. George, Utah; Brett Owen Hale serving a mission for the L.D.S. Church in France; Michael Todd Hale and Trent Wayne Hale both of Rigby. He is survived by four brothers; Kenneth Hale of Blackfoot, Idaho; Jonny Hale of Arizona, Wayne (Carol) Hale of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Mark Hale of Texas.
He is survived by 6 grandchildren
Preceded in death by his parents, & four sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 9, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Rigby 3rd.
Ward L.D.S. Chapel, 364 N. 4100 E. Rigby, Idaho. The family will receive friends Thursday Evening 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the 3rd Ward Chapel, and Friday 11:30 a.m -12:30 p.m. at the Chapel. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
