Steven Michael Osti

Steven Michael Osti, 71 of Rigby, passed away October 12, 2018 at his home.

Steven was born July 24, 1947 in Santa Monica, California to Belva Clive Osti and Peter P. Osti.

He was raised and attended schools in Santa Monica and was active in high school sports.   Following high school, he attended and graduated from Los Angeles Police Academy. He served with Los Angeles Police Department for 38 years. He was also a member of the Los Angeles Police Department Union. On September 26, 1988, he married Sally Jeane Vernon in Santa Monica, California. They were blessed with 4 sons, Darren, Jake, Ian and Zane and 1 daughter Dawn.

Steven enjoyed woodworking, crossword puzzles, making jerky and helping his wife Sally with her art projects. He was a history buff and loved watching and playing Jeopardy. Above all, he loved his family and cherished the memories he made with them.

Steven is survived by his wife, Sally Osti, sons; Darren (Jodi) Osti, of Santa Barbara, California, Jake Osti of Los Angeles, California, Ian Osti and Zane Osti, both of Menan, his daughter, Dawn (Jeff) Van Wagenen, of Riverside, California, 3 grandchildren, Alexa, Brittany, and Tyler, and his sister, Claudia Palma of Sylmar, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
