Stoney Dewayne Tucker, 47, of Lewisville, Idaho, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 in Eufaula, Oklahoma.
Stoney was born on December 2, 1963 in McAlester, Oklahoma the son of Jerry Don and Janet Gibson Tucker. He graduated from Western Height High School in Oklahoma City. Stoney married Lesa Burnside on June 28, 1990 in Grand Prairie, Texas. Stoney was a member of the Mayridge Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. He worked as a District Manager for Waste Connections in Idaho. Stoney loved to cook, especially for the employee lunches. His greatest love was his family, he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and camping. Stoney had a big heart and was a friend to all.
Stoney is survived by his wife, Lesa Tucker, of Lewisville; mother, Janet Tucker of Eufaula, Oklahoma; brothers, Darren (Kathy) Tucker of Yukon, Oklahoma Jerry (La Resa) Tucker, Jr. of Meeker, Oklahoma; sister, Shawna (Cory) Maxwell; a host of nieces and nephews; his canine family, Bailey and Misty and his guard cats at work.
Stoney was accompanied in death by his father, Jerry Don Tucker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rexburg Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. Memorial contributions may be made at any animal shelter in his honor.
