Sue Killian Hoag

November 15, 1940 — September 30, 2003

Sue Hoag, age 62, of Ririe, died Tuesday, September 30, 2003, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Sue was born November 15, 1940, at Milo, Idaho, a daughter of Delbert Henry Killian and Mary Campbell Killian. She attended schools in Poplar, Ririe, Ucon and graduated from Bonneville High School. She married Myron Stanley Hoag, July 9, 1971 in the Coltman LDS Ward Church. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on March 26, 1974. She was an active member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in primary and scouting for many years. She worked for Idaho Potato Growers as a lab technician, as librarian in the Ririe Public Library and in the Day Care Center in Ririe. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, cooking, camping, gardening, crocheting and was an excellent seamstress. Sue is survived by 3 sisters: Mary Jane (Revar) Harris of Coltman, Idaho, Sharon Bahr of Boise, Idaho, and Ann (James) Griffith of Rigby; 3 brothers: Hyrum Delbert (Venece) Killian of Coltman, Idaho, Ronald Clair (Bonnie) Killian of Idaho Falls, and Arnold Gene (Linda) Killian of Ammon, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 4, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ririe-Perry Wards LDS Chapel (285 2nd West) with Bishop Kent Frecker officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery
