Susan Lee Kirby Davis, 75, left this earth to meet her sweetheart on April 30, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family at her home in Ammon, Idaho.

Susan was born on November 24, 1949 to Boyd Calvin Kirby and Donna Rose Grover.  She grew up with her three sisters and one brother in Idaho Falls, ID.  She attended Idaho Falls High School, where she met her sweetheart, Kelly Davis. She graduated in 1968.

Kelly and Susan were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on February 28, 1969.  They were soon joined by three boys, Rex, Shane, and Blake.  During the pregnancy of their fourth child, Tiffanie, Susan went paralyzed through a condition called transverse myelitis.  Kelly would lovingly care for her for the rest of his life despite his own physical struggles.  Their devoted love to each other is an inspiration to all of their family.

Susan loved her family and put much time and energy into building relationships with her children and grandchildren.  She was loved for spending long hours in heartfelt conversations in the kitchen.  She was talented at crochet and crocheted baby blankets for each of her grandkids.  Cooking was a talent she excelled at and loved being in the kitchen.  We each have a recipe book she put together so we can all attempt her favorite recipes.  Susan had a love of plants and knew how to make each plant thrive. She was a plant whisperer.   She also loved macrame and cross-stitch.

Susan was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She had a love of our Savior, Jesus Christ and faith in his plan.  She was a great example of not only enduring but also thriving through the hard challenges in her life.  She loved working with the young women and teaching the women in relief society.  She loved being a member of the Ammon 4th Ward.  She and her family were so thankful for their watchful care.

She is survived by her children: Rex (Vicki) Davis of Logan, UT; Shane (Nancy) Davis of Bella Vista, AR; Blake (Robin, Jordan) Davis of Centerville, UT; Tiffanie (Sean) Fitzpatrick of Elk Grove, CA.; her three sisters, Sandi, Shirley (Dave), Shayla (Brent) and brother Scott (Stacy) 23 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husaband Kelly Davis; and her parents Boyd and Donna Kirby; and granddaughter Sadie Davis.
