Theodore Blaine Cordon, 72, of Rigby passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Rexburg Care and Rehab Center.
He was born August 4, 1940, in Rigby, Idaho to Leo LaVern Cordon and Lida Rae Durrant Cordon. He was raised and attended schools in Rigby. He served in the US Army and the National Guard. He married Elizabeth Lee, they later divorced. He married Carol Richie, they later divorced.
Blaine was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He drove truck for Western Wholesale, Doug Andrus Trucking and Webster Potato. He was a member of the Jefferson County Posse, Jefferson County Cutter Racing Association and the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He enjoyed camping and four wheeling.
He is survived by his children, Lori Cordon Lopez, of Kaufman Texas, Tony Cordon, or Rigby, sisters, Rhonda (Moy) Rodriquez, of Idaho Falls, brothers, Marlow (Barbara) Cordon, of Garfield, Vance Cordon, of Ririe and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Ladean Lords, Verna Mae Mueller, Cloe Ann Beebe and brothers, Raymond Cordon and David Cordon.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 1013, at Rigby 12th Ward LDS Church, 602 Sundance, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
