Tamara Stelzer

Tamara Stelzer, 30, of Menan, died Friday, June 27, 2008 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of injuries received in automobile and train accident. Tamara was born November 5, 1977 in Idaho Falls, Idaho a daughter of Melvin Freeman and LaKauna Mason Freeman. She was raised and attended school in Burton and Rexburg graduating from Madison High School. She earned her L.P.N. at the Idaho Vo-Tech. She worked at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center as a nurse for two years and the Creekside Pain Center for 1 year. Tamara married Tony Thomas Stelzer on September 20, 2003, in Burton, Idaho. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed gardening. The love of her life was her children, family and was best friends with her siblings. Tamara was beloved by everyone who knew her and made friends every where she went from the time she started walking. Tamara is survived by her husband Tony Stelzer of Menan, daughter Samantha, and an infant daughter both of Menan, parents, Mel and LaKauna Freeman of Burton, sisters Jacque (Todd) Heyrend of Lyman, Pam (Randy) Ellis of Saratoga Springs, Utah, Chelsea Freeman of Burton, brothers Doug Freeman of Burton, Shaun (Laurie) Freeman of Herriman, Utah, Mike Freeman of Yakima, Washington, grandparents Bill and Trish Mason of Wilford. She was preceded in death by her son Dylan Stelzer, brother, Jason Freeman, Grandmothers, Mae Larson, and A’Neal Mason. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the Burton 1st Ward L.D.S. Chapel with Bishop Robert Hodgen officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby and prior to the service on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
