Teresa Palmer Rowen, 63 of Idaho Falls, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at her home.
She was born October 22, 1949 to Carl Sterling Palmer and Ellen Lake Palmer in Pocatello, Idaho. She was raised and attended schools in Vernal, Utah, graduating from Uintah High School. She continued her education at Stevens-Henagar College in SLC, Utah. On June 13, 1970, she married Larson W. Rowen in Vernal, Utah.
Teresa was an avid crafter; she enjoyed her yard and being outdoors. She took pride in being a good homemaker and most importantly she treasured the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Larson Rowen, of Idaho Falls, daughter, Christle (Keith) Duff, of Nampa, ID, sons Shon (Becky) Rowen, of Shelley, Matthew Rowen, of Idaho Falls, sisters, Christine Palmer, of Rexburg, Karen (Lynn) Betts, of Rexburg, Carla Jo (Mike) Harrington, of Australia, brothers, Tim (Lisa) Palmer, of Blackfoot, 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Morris Palmer, and 2 granddaughters.
The sharing of memories and stories will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2013 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to time of sharing at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Dry Fork Cemetery in Vernal, Utah Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.
