Teri Lyn Owens

Teri Lyn Owens, 59 of Rigby, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her home. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice. Teri was born January 15, 1957 in Ogden, Utah to Alvin J. Hall and Vida Carol Kranz Hall. She was raised and attended schools in Rigby. On December 30, 1976 she married Blaine Dale Owens in Elko, Nevada. Teri was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She worked as a School Bus Driver for District 91 for 30 years, and was a Clerk for Idaho Livestock Auction. She enjoyed bowling, racing quarter horses, rescuing cats, was an avid fisher-woman and would tie her own flies. She also enjoyed art and painting. She is survived by her husband Blaine Dale Owens of Rigby; daughter, Audra Gayle (Steve) Fell, of Idaho Falls; son, Jessie Dale (Lisa) Owens of Idaho Falls; mother and stepfather, Carol and David Kranz of Rigby; sisters, Tamara Sue (James) Dorn of Missouri City, Texas; Paula Dawn (Jonathon Howard) Kranz of Morris, Illinois, Melinda Gifford of Converse, TX; brothers, Calvin Jay Kranz of Rigby, Clarence Gifford of Converse, TX and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin J. Hall, sister, Carolyn Mary Hall, brother Paul David Kranz, Grandmother, Mary Ardell Anderson, grandfather Milton Waters Anderson and grandmother, Evelyn Clayton. A visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby.
