Terry Lynn Johnson

Terry Lynn Johnson, 76, of Rigby, Idaho passed away, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 surrounded by his family.

Terry was born March 6, 1942 in Rigby, Idaho, the son of Narvel Scott Johnson and Sadie Cleova Durrant Johnson. On May 2, 1975 he married Jolene Barber in Ririe, Idaho. He retired from the Jefferson County Road and Bridge as a Blade Operator. During the winter he worked at Kelly Canyon Ski Resort as a ski lift operator and on the Dry Farms during the summer in the Ririe area.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and especially spending time with his grandkids.

Terry is survived by his wife; Jolene Johnson of Rigby, Idaho. His children; Lori (Kevin) Hope of Richland, Washington, Sadie (Kevin) DeCoria of Middleton, Idaho, Dennis (Michele) Johnson of Weiser, Idaho, and Jerome (Hillary) Johnson of Rigby, Idaho.  Brothers; Wydell (Janet) Johnson of Ririe, Idaho and Timmie (Diane) Johnson of Ririe, Idaho.  He had twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Bonnie and a brother Gerald.

A funeral service will be held Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, (101 W. Main Street, Rigby, Idaho). The family will meet with friends Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 AM, both at Eckersell Memorial Chapel.  Interment will be in the Sutton Cemetery.  Condolences can be shared at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com.
