Thelma Hutchens

Thelma Hutchens, 88, of Idaho Falls, Idaho formerly of LaBelle, Idaho died Friday, June 27, 2003 in Idaho Falls. Thelma was born November 11, 1914 at Shelton, Idaho the daughter of Ernest John Moore and Viola Cole Moore. She attended various schools in Southeastern Idaho. She had worked at the Rigby Seed House, Rushtons Meat Market, King B., Fresh Pak, Rigby Cold Storage and worked picking potatoes for various farmers. She married Aurthur William “Dutch” Hutchens at Shelton, Idaho on December 10, 1932. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She lived in Yuma, Arizona for the past eighteen winters. She enjoyed reading, sewing, camping, snowmobiling, raising a garden and canning. She is survived by her daughters, LaRue (Ronald G.) Graham of Pahrump, Nevada and Linda (Ronald W.) Baker of Aiken, South Carolina. A son, Dean (Genene) Hutchens of Heise, Idaho. A sister, Loretta Synoground of Lodi, California. Eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Authur William Hutchens, her parents, a sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in the Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 West Main, Rigby).. The family will meet with friends on Monday, June 30, 2003 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 1, 2003 from 9:00 to 9:50 a.m. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
