Thomas James Hawkins born January 31, 1983 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Paul and Diane Hawkins. Tommy passed way January 25, 2019 after being caught in an avalanche near Victor, Idaho. He grew up in Victor, Idaho and graduated from Teton High School. Tommy served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Toronto, Canada Mission. After returning he studied in the Diesel Tech Program at Idaho State University. On December 30, 2004 he married his childhood sweetheart Brittany Jean Hansen, in the Salt Lake Temple. At the time of his passing he was working for Energy Management Corporation in Salt Lake City, Utah. He and his family were living in Layton, Utah. He was a devoted Father of three children and beloved Husband, Brother, Son and Friend.
Tommy is survived by his wife Brittany, his three children, Timaree, Jakoby, and Keithen, father and mother Paul and Diane Hawkins, 4 brothers, Steven (Amber), “CJ” Christopher (Dawna), Nathan (Sandra), Paul Jr. (Kylee), and three sisters, Angela (Tyson) Spencer, Kristine (Casey) Park, Natalie (Spencer) Gregory.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Victor building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The family will visit with friends Friday, February 1, 2019 at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and prior to the service on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. both at the church. Burial will be in the Cedron Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby
