Tisha Lynn Carter, 44, of Rigby, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Rigby County Living Center; she was under the care of Teton Home Health and Hospice.
She was born October 29, 1968, in Pocatello to Delbert G. Carter and Marilyn Walker Carter. She was raised and attended schools in Pocatello and was an honorary graduate of Highland High School. She also attended the Joshua Smith Foundation in Idaho Falls for several years.
She enjoyed participating in Special Olympics; she loved stuffed animals and music, and had a love for all animals. She will be truly missed by her extended family at Rigby Country Living.
She is survived by her father and step-mother, Delbert Carter and Chris Oswald, of Pocatello, and brother, Casey Carter and Tiffany Green, of Pocatello. She was preceded in death by her mother and both sets of grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2013 at Central Christian Church, 918 E. Center St., Pocatello, with Pastor Roger Bray, officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 12:45 p.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
