Trey Holden Tomlinson

Trey Holden Tomlinson of Terreton, Idaho, passed away at home on September, 26, 2021.

Trey was born October 24, 1996 in Rexburg, Idaho to Ike and Teri Wood Tomlinson.   He was the 4th of 5 children and came into this world with a head full of thick dark hair. He was raised in Terreton Idaho and graduated from West Jefferson High School in 2015 where he enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and football. He enjoyed all sports and was very competitive.

Trey served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Gilbert Arizona from 2015 to 2017. He loved the people of Arizona and enjoyed his service there.

After returning home from his mission, he held various construction jobs and later joined the United States Navy. He was stationed in both Chicago, Illinois and Pensacola, Florida where he graduated from the Information System Technician program.

He was happiest when he was spending time with his nieces and nephews. They were lucky to have spent a lot of quality time with him and will forever be grateful for their fun Uncle Trey. He led a joyful life and enjoyed laughing with his friends, competing with his brothers, and being with his family.

Trey is survived by his parents: Ike and Teri Tomlinson of Mud Lake, Kaden (Raechel) Tomlinson of Rexburg, Baylee (Jake) Tanner of Rigby, Braxton Tomlinson of Mud Lake, Briggs Tomlinson of Mud Lake, and nieces and nephews: Taytum, Jagg, Maddox, Harley, and Kotah.

Services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Terreton, Idaho Stake Center. The family will meet with family and friends Wednesday night from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm as well as Thursday morning before the service from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. Interment will be at the West Jefferson Cemetery following the service.
