Valerie June Kindred

Valerie June Kindred, 40, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away March 6th, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, and tearful goodbyes.

Born February 24, 1986, in Rexburg, Idaho, Valarie lived a life full of adventure and chaos. She was known for her strong spirit, and many will remember her incredible personality. She adored nature and viewed the mountains as her playground.

Valarie passed away after a long and difficult battle with addiction, a struggle that many families know too well. In the years before her passing, she showed remarkable strength and resilience, celebrating three years of sobriety- a milestone she worked hard to achieve and one that reflected her determination to heal and rebuild. She was more than her struggles; she was deeply loved, and her laughter, warmth and presence left a lasting mark on those who knew her.

She is survived by her Spouse, Micheal Mitchell; her children, Vincent Later, Micah Later, Lucas Mason, Emily Howland, Kenedy Howland and River Howland; her mother, Christina Stanley; her brother Justin and her sister Kelly; and many extended family members and friends that will deeply miss her.

A memorial service will be held at Eckersell Funeral Home (101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho) on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 1:00pm.

She will be remembered not for the struggles she faced, but for the love she gave the laughter she gave, and shared, and the lasting imprint she left on the lives she touched.
