Veda May Page

Veda May Page, age 91, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Promontory Point Rehabilitation in Idaho Falls. Veda was from Rigby, Idaho.

Veda was born on May 2, 1934 in Menan, Idaho, a daughter to Nathan Ray Hunting and Fern Harrington. She attended schools in Menan and Rigby.

On December 14, 1951, she married Donald C. Page. Together they made their life in Rigby, Idaho.

Veda was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and found strength in her faith. She was also a proud member of the TOPS Club for 37 years, where she found support and friendship.

Known for her vibrant spirit, Veda loved to sing, dance, and spend time outdoors-especially fishing and camping. She had a gift for reminiscing and sharing stories that brought people together. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Most of all, Veda loved her family, she treasured the time she spent with them.

Veda is survived by her daughter Karen Shorter of Rigby, son DelRay (Connie) Page of Rigby, 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Nathan Ray and Fern Hunting, her brothers Lyle Hunting and Dean Hunting, two sons, Merlin page and Gary Page, 1 grandson, and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Eckersell Funeral Home, Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home Friday, prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow services at Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
