Venece Fullmer Killian, 84, of Idaho Falls, passed in Clearfield, Utah Sunday, February 7th, 2016.
Venece was born in Tetonia, Idaho the youngest daughter of Charles Myron Fullmer and Gladys Elzada Clements Fullmer. She attended Teton High School and Ricks College. She married H. Delbert Killian, for time and all eternity, on May 8th, 1961 in the Idaho Falls, Idaho LDS Temple.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. She served an LDS Mission to Norway. She continued to be a missionary at heart for the rest of her life. She held various callings, including working at the stake family history for many many years. She also served a service mission with her husband at the church employment center. She was very compassionate, loving, and kind. She was a friend to all she came across.
She was a 4H County Food Preservation Chair and a 4H leader.
She is survived by two daughters; Christine (Charles) Eckersell of Layton, Utah, Carol Aitken of Idaho Falls, two sons; Steven(Margie) Killian of Syracuse, Utah and Bryce (Paula) Killian of Declo, Idaho, four sisters; Sarah Haugh of Rigby, Veda Strickwerda of Deer Park, Washington,Merle Lofthouse of North Ogden, Utah and Grace Taylor of Idaho Falls, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Gladys Fullmer, husband H. Delbert Killian, a sister Martha Bradley and two brothers; Lester Fullmer and Myron Fullmer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. the Coltman 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 12448 North 5th East, Idaho Falls, with Bishop Blair Sautter officiating. The family will visit with friends at the Coltman LDS Church on Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will follow services at the Cache-Clawson Cemetery, Tetonia, Idaho.
