Vern Lee Rolfe

Levern “Vern” Lee Rolfe, 24, of Rigby, died Thursday, August 26, 2010. He was born September 6, 1985, and is the son of Matt E. Rolfe and Marlene Marie Mijares Stucki Rolfe. He was raised and attended school in Rigby and received his G.E.D. in 2006. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Vern enjoyed fishing with his Dad, camping, four-wheeler rides, his Camaro, Skateboarding with his close friends, was very kind, loving and nurturing to his niece and nephews and all the children who knew him. They all love him very much. He is survived by his parents, Matt and Marlene Rolfe, sisters, Heather Rolfe Jensen, Jenna Rolfe, Brothers, Brandon Rolfe, Alexander Rolfe, all of Rigby, John Roufs, of Washington, his grandparents, Jessie Rolfe, of Rigby, and Marvin and Jeanette Stucki, of Idaho Falls. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Grace & Jerry Boyd, grandparents, Reed Rolfe and Eugene Mijares, and his brother-in-law, Orrin Jensen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 30, 2010, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Sunday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., prior to services Monday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
